About Brain Balance Baltimore
Brain Balance Baltimore was founded in 2024 by Beth Snow and Chris Davanzo, both of whom grew up in the Baltimore area. Beth’s passion to open this program and facility stems from a lifetime commitment to child development in Baltimore.
Beth holds a Master’s in Education from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Towson University. Beth is an experienced educator with over 20 years in the classroom. As an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University and Notre Dame of Maryland, she has an extensive knowledge of neuroscience which examines how the brain relates to mental processes like thinking, perception and learning.
Beth complemented her child development experience by teaching at the renown Jemicy School in Maryland. The Jemicy School is a college-preparatory, coed, independent school for grades 1-12, specializing in the education of bright and talented students with ADHD, dyslexia or language-based learning differences. Beth developed multi-sensory teaching techniques with assistive technology to enhance her sessions and increase results.
Beth has dedicated her life to helping the children and adults of Baltimore lead a more productive & stress-free life, and she looks forward to working with your family. Together, Beth and Chris form a dynamic and highly effective team. With Chris handling the operations, Beth can fully dedicate her efforts and skillset to the participants and their success in our Brain Balance Baltimore program!
